About the Center
The main objective of establishing The Far East Research Centre is to bring together specialists in Far East literatures, languages and cultures for fruitful interchange of their research results by creation in Ukraine joint information and research space.
Membership:
All interested researchers are encouraged to join the Center on free and general basis.
Membership conditions:
- providing information about work-place, research interests, as well as annual reports about conference presentations, published materials, etc. (blank form is being attached) with the aim to create shared scientific database;
- active participation in the Center`s activities (presentations during seminars, conferences and other activities carried out by the Center);
- providing information about scientific and cultural events held in Ukraine and abroad, which are related to the mainstream of Center`s activities.
Research fields and activities
The activities of the Far East Research Center are aimed at high-end research in the sphere of literature, linguistic and cultural studies and presentation of research results at seminars, conferences and other scientific events.
In the future we plan to bring up qualified specialists (PhD candidates and PhD holders) in literatures, languages and cultures of Far East region, as well as to install contacts with other research institutions of the mentioned specialization for scientific exchange and co-organizing of scientific events (conferences, seminars etc.).
Activity categories:
- conducting seminars and lectures on literatures, languages and cultures of Far East region /presenting speeches of Center members and invited speakers;
- conducting conferences according to Center`s research fields and main activities;
- conducting tutorials for MA and PhD students;
- cooperation with other Ukrainian and overseas educational and research institutions, which carry out research work relevant to the Center`s main activities;
- creating annual electronic list of papers and research works published/ presented by the Center`s members in Ukraine or abroad;
- creating Centre`s web-site to upload the scientific achievements of Centre`s members, as well as information about their main activities.
